- All parcels arriving at the warehouse will be unpacked, photographed, measured, and weighed, and their attributes recorded.
- Ebaoguo is responsible for air freight only. Ebaoguo accepts no liability if customs inspects or confiscates the contents of a parcel.
Important Notes #
- Consolidation service available: individual parcels up to 10 kg actual weight can be consolidated; the consolidated box must not exceed 30 kg actual weight.
- Each box is charged separately; weights are not combined across boxes.
- For any single item, no single side may exceed 110 cm, and the total of all three sides must be less than 300 cm.
- Payment is required before dispatch. You can download an Invoice issued by Ebaoguo’s Australian company from the website (which includes any applicable charges).
- Ebaoguo is responsible for parcel transport only and accepts no liability for quantity discrepancies or damage caused by the seller (e.g. wrong or missing items; colour, size, or style not matching expectations; loose stitching, colour bleeding, or melting during transit). You may select additional services when submitting your parcel to have the quantity checked and quality inspected.
- Accurate declaration is required. If goods are under-declared or mis-declared and are inspected, seized, or destroyed by customs, freight charges are non-refundable. Any additional costs incurred are the customer’s responsibility.
- Insurance is available at 8% of the declared value. The original purchase invoice must be provided. Insurance must be purchased before dispatch. Insurance covers loss only โ damage is not covered. The maximum payout is RMB 5,000 (inclusive of freight).
- If no insurance is purchased, compensation for loss is limited to 2ร the freight charge. Damage and all other forms of loss are not covered.
Notes regarding delivery addresses:
- Mail addressed to PO Box holders must include the recipient’s residential address and phone number.
— International parcels cannot be delivered to Parcel Locker addresses. - If the destination customs authority finds prohibited or non-importable goods in a parcel, the goods will be confiscated or returned. Freight charges are non-refundable. Return shipping costs are the sender’s responsibility.

Freight Rates: #
- Rate: first 1 kg ยฅ310; each additional 0.5 kg ยฅ125
- Minimum chargeable weight is 1 kg (anything under 1 kg is billed as 1 kg); additional weight is rounded up to the next 0.5 kg
- Chargeable weight: the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight (L ร W ร H รท 5000 cm)
- Example: 2.3 kg is billed as 2.5 kg, i.e. 1 kg ร AU$62 + 1.5 kg ร AU$25 = AU$99.50
Duties & Taxes: #
- Customs clearance for this service is handled by China Post on your behalf.
- This service does not include duties. If the declared value exceeds C$20, customs duty and goods tax will apply.
- If duties are assessed, Canada Customs will send a payment request directly to the recipient.
As an agent of China Post, Ebaoguo is not responsible for customs clearance or duty liability at the destination country.
Ebaoguo is not responsible for the accuracy of customs declarations. Customers must proactively and accurately declare the contents and value of their parcels, and are solely responsible for their declarations.
Transit Time #
- Dispatched Monday to Friday (excluding Chinese public holidays). Once payment is confirmed, the warehouse will hand the parcel to China Post on the next business day.
Last-Mile Delivery #
- Delivered by Canada Post.
- Canada Post will attempt delivery directly to your address on the first attempt. If delivery is unsuccessful, a notification card will be left. The recipient must bring valid photo ID to the address shown on the card to collect the parcel.
What Can Be Shipped as General Goods? #
General merchandise, clothing, footwear, decorations, and handicrafts.
What Cannot Be Shipped
- Liquids, currency, bonds, shares or other negotiable instruments, fresh flowers, seafood, poultry (fresh/frozen), perfume, aerosol sprays, tobacco, alcoholic beverages, and items exceeding 3 metres in length โ none of these are accepted for shipping.
- Human medicines, narcotics, controlled and restricted substances; edible meat and meat products, dairy products, eggs and processed egg products (including inedible products); fresh fruit and vegetables, honey and syrup products, grains, seeds and nuts for human consumption, reproductive seeds; animal feed, plants and plant products; fertilisers, supplements, soil and growing media; pest control products; other unlisted animal products, fish and fish products.
