Hongkong Post EMS Delivery Timeframes #

Once payment is confirmed, we will hand your parcel over to Hongkong Post on the next business day. Delivery across Australia takes approximately 2–7 business days. (a) The delivery standard applies only to EMS items lodged before the cut-off time on the day of posting, and is calculated based on business days at the destination. The day of posting is not included in the delivery standard (day of posting = 0). For destinations subject to or transiting through destinations that have implemented the EU Import Control System 2, the customs clearance time required — which includes the time for preliminary assessment by the destination customs authority of the electronic customs data submitted (i.e. from when Hongkong Post submits the electronic customs data to the destination customs authority to when Hongkong Post receives the preliminary assessment result) — is not counted within the delivery standard. (b) Customs authorities at most destinations will assess and levy duties (where applicable) on EMS items. The time required for customs clearance is not included in the delivery standard. (c) If the customer fails to provide a postcode or provides an invalid postcode, delivery of the EMS item may be delayed. In such cases, the delivery standard defaults to the longest applicable delivery time. (d) Sundays, public holidays, and days on which a Black Rainstorm Warning or Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is in force are not counted when calculating the day of posting and day of arrival for all mail items, or when assessing service performance under the service pledge. (e) The Hongkong Post service pledge does not apply if service is disrupted for reasons beyond Hongkong Post’s control, including but not limited to natural disasters, disruption to transport networks, severe weather conditions, and pandemics.

Hongkong Post Customs & Duties #

Hongkong Post shipping fees do not include import duties or customs charges levied by the destination country or region.
If duties or customs charges are incurred, the recipient must liaise directly with the destination postal authority to submit any additional documentation or pay the applicable duties. Ebaoguo is not responsible for customs duties or clearance issues.

Hongkong Post Shipping Notes #

Packaging size and weight limits for Hongkong Post forwarding to different destinations worldwide vary.
Using Hong Kong forwarding to Australia as an example:
- Maximum weight: 20 kg
- Chargeable weight: the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight (length × width × height ÷ 5000 cm)
- Minimum chargeable weight is 1 kg — parcels under 1 kg are billed as 1 kg. For example, a 0.8 kg parcel is charged as 1 kg.
- Length (longest side) = within 1.05 metres
- Length (longest side) + girth = within 3 metres
- Maximum parcel weight: within 20 kg (chargeable weight)
- One waybill per parcel. Multiple parcels are not combined for weight calculation.
- Once dispatched, the recipient address cannot be changed unless the sender requests otherwise at the time of lodgement (e.g. to abandon the item). The destination postal authority will return the parcel by the method it deems most appropriate (airmail or surface mail). The sender is responsible for all costs associated with returning undeliverable parcels.

Hongkong Post EMS Insurance #

Due to channel restrictions, the maximum declared value per waybill for Hongkong Post EMS shipped via Ebaoguo’s Hong Kong warehouse is HKD 1,000. If the declared value exceeds this amount, you will need to submit a new waybill.
If the item’s value exceeds HKD 1,000 and cannot be split, Ebaoguo will be unable to ship it.
Ebaoguo Japan provides complimentary insurance of HKD 500 per waybill. If your declared value is below HKD 500, no additional insurance is required.
If your declared value exceeds HKD 500 but is below HKD 1,000, you may purchase loss insurance at 5% of the declared value for greater compensation coverage. The minimum insurance premium is HKD 50.

- Free storage for 30 days (the day the parcel arrives at the warehouse is Day 0). After 30 days, a fee of HKD 12.5 per parcel per day applies. Parcels exceeding 30 days will be periodically disposed of.

How to Ship #

Step 1: Register and log in at https://ebaoguo.cn to obtain your Ebaoguo warehouse address and support number. Step 2: You can purchase items from any website and have them shipped to the address we assign to you, or arrange delivery yourself. Step 3: Once the seller has dispatched your order, please pre-advise your tracking number in the parcel list. Step 4: Once Ebaoguo’s warehouse receives your parcel, it will be logged into your parcel list. Step 5: When all parcels have arrived, you can submit a shipment request from the parcel list — enter the recipient’s address and select the appropriate shipping service and any additional options. Step 6: Once Ebaoguo’s warehouse has packed your items according to your instructions, you will receive a payment notification. Step 7: After successful payment, we will dispatch your goods.
