Singapore Local Delivery: #

• Door-to-door delivery with full tracking (covering both Malaysia and Singapore); no remote area surcharge

Taxes & Duties: #

• Please declare the correct value of your goods. Singapore Customs conducts random inspections on incoming parcels. If your parcel is selected, you may be required to provide proof of purchase (e.g. a screenshot of your Taobao order showing product details and the delivery address). A mismatch between the declared value and actual purchase may result in a penalty.

Other Important Notes: #

• Each shipment to the same recipient at the same address is limited to one parcel (maximum chargeable weight 30 kg). If you have multiple parcels, you may request a consolidation (repack) service when submitting your shipping order
• Please declare your goods accurately. Any customs detention, inspection, duties, fines, or confiscation resulting from false, incomplete, or incorrect declarations are entirely the customer’s responsibility
• Food items (fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, seafood, and food containing liquids cannot be shipped) are treated as general cargo and may be transported without prior approval, provided they are securely sealed
• Insurance is optional. You may purchase coverage at 5% of the declared value. A purchase invoice must be provided before buying insurance, and insurance must be purchased before dispatch. Insurance does not apply to personal or second-hand items, or goods for which no purchase invoice can be provided. Without insurance, the maximum compensation per waybill in the event of loss is the equivalent of AU$100 (inclusive of shipping fees). With insurance, the maximum coverage per waybill is the equivalent of AU$500. Compensation applies to loss only — damage, deformation, deterioration, or any other form of physical damage is not covered.
• Ebaoguo is not liable for any deformation, deterioration, melting, damage, or liquid leakage caused by environmental changes during transit. Please ensure your items are properly packaged before dispatch.

Chargeable Weight #

Air freight charges are based not only on actual weight but also on the size of the parcel — commonly known as volumetric (dimensional) weight.

• 1. The chargeable weight is the greater of the actual weight and the volumetric weight for each parcel
  • For example: if a parcel’s actual weight is 3.1 kg and its volumetric weight is 2.1 kg, the greater value of 3.1 kg is used. Rounded up to the next whole kg, the chargeable weight is 4 kg.
• 2. International freight volumetric weight formula: length (cm) × width (cm) × height (cm) ÷ 5000

How to Measure Irregular Parcels #

① Standard parcel measurement: For a standard rectangular box, volumetric weight is calculated using the box’s length, width, and height.

② Bulging parcel measurement: If the sides of the box have bulged outward due to the contents being compressed, the longest dimension at the widest point is used for calculation.

③ Irregular parcel measurement: If the contents require irregular packaging, the volumetric weight is calculated based on the longest dimension.

What items are restricted or prohibited?

Items that must never be shipped:

• Anything containing a battery, regardless of size — the battery must be removed before shipping
• Perfume, regardless of volume
• The following common air freight prohibited items:

– Explosives, such as fireworks or flares – Flammable gases, such as aerosols or camping gas; non-flammable gases, such as compressed oxygen; toxic gases, such as oxygen difluoride – Flammable liquids, such as solvents or paint – Flammable solids, such as matches; substances liable to spontaneous combustion, such as phosphorus; substances that emit flammable gases when wet, such as calcium carbide – Oxidising substances, such as fertilisers; organic peroxides, such as fibreglass repair kits – Toxic substances, such as pesticides; infectious substances, such as blood samples or medical specimens – Radioactive materials, such as smoke detectors – Corrosive substances, such as bleach or drain cleaner – Miscellaneous dangerous goods, including airbags, mobile phones, computers, pornographic material, plants/seeds/flowers, magnets or items containing ferromagnetic material, human remains/bodily fluids, live or dead animals, animal hides/furs/any animal parts, wet/dry/metal or lithium batteries or products containing these, perfume, nail polish, aftershave, hair spray, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, alcohol, prescription medication, pork products, metal tins, and products with odour leakage, etc.   Disclaimer: If prohibited items as listed above are found concealed in a parcel, or if goods are not declared accurately, any resulting returns, fines, or criminal penalties are entirely the customer’s responsibility and have nothing to do with Ebaoguo. Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer.   All outbound parcels are subject to X-ray screening. Please do not attempt to conceal prohibited items. If prohibited items are detected by the carrier, the parcel will be returned within 7–10 business days, and a return fee of AUD$25 per parcel will be charged. Even a single AAA battery can result in the entire box being returned.
