Taiwan Warehouse Usage Notes #

1. As only air freight is available from Taiwan to Australia, please send your parcels to our Kaohsiung air freight warehouse. If sent to the wrong warehouse, a local transfer fee of NT$185 will apply.
2. Parcels must be pre-declared in the Ebaoguo system before they arrive at the Taiwan warehouse. Without pre-declaration, your parcel will not appear in your account.
3. Please read the [Cannot Ship List] carefully before sending. If you are unsure whether an item is allowed, contact us before purchasing. Return shipping fees apply for items that cannot be forwarded after they arrive at the warehouse.
4. A parcel handling fee of NT$22 per parcel applies when a shipment order is submitted. For example, submitting 3 parcels will incur a handling fee of 3 × NT$22 = NT$66.
5. Chunghwa Post charges a documentation fee of NT$200 per shipment order.

How Charges Are Calculated #

Chargeable Weight

Air freight charges are based not only on actual weight but also on parcel dimensions — commonly known as volumetric (dimensional) weight.

• a. The chargeable weight for each parcel is the greater of its actual weight and its volumetric weight
  • For example, if a parcel’s actual weight is 3.1 kg and its volumetric weight is 2.1 kg, the chargeable weight is 3.1 kg, which rounds up to 3.5 kg in 500 g increments
• b. The chargeable weight for a shipment order is the sum of the chargeable weights of all parcels in that order
• c. Volumetric weight formula for international freight: L (cm) × W (cm) × H (cm) ÷ 5000

1. The minimum chargeable weight for consolidated routes is 1 kg; fractions under 1 kg are rounded up to 1 kg. Up to 10 kg, weight is rounded up in 500 g increments; above 10 kg, it is rounded up in 1 kg increments. For example, a chargeable weight of 1.3 kg is billed as 1.5 kg, and 10.2 kg is billed as 11 kg.
2. If the actual weight is 2 kg or under and the volumetric weight does not exceed 5 kg, only the actual weight is used, rounded up in 500 g increments — so 1.3 kg is billed as 1.5 kg.

Example Say Xiao Ming is sending two parcels to the same recipient: Parcel 1 actual weight: 4 kg; volumetric weight: 36 cm × 35 cm × 30 cm ÷ 5000 = 7.56 kg → chargeable weight: 8 kg Parcel 2 actual weight: 10 kg; volumetric weight: 36 cm × 35 cm × 30 cm ÷ 5000 = 7.56 kg → chargeable weight: 10 kg Total chargeable weight for Xiao Ming’s shipment order: 8 kg + 10 kg = 18 kg

How to Ship #

Step 1: Register and log in at https://ebaoguo.cn to get your Ebaoguo warehouse address and customer reference number Step 2: Purchase items from any website and have them shipped to your assigned warehouse address, or arrange delivery yourself Step 3: Once the seller has dispatched your items, pre-declare your tracking number(s) in the parcel list Step 4: Once Ebaoguo’s warehouse receives your parcel, it will be logged into your parcel list Step 5: When all parcels have arrived, submit a shipment order from the parcel list — enter the recipient’s address and select the appropriate shipping route and any additional services Step 6: Once Ebaoguo’s warehouse has packed your order, you will receive a payment notification Step 7: After payment is confirmed, we will dispatch your goods

– Explosives, such as fireworks or flares – Flammable gases, such as aerosols or camping gas; non-flammable gases, such as compressed oxygen; toxic gases, such as oxygen difluoride – Flammable liquids, such as solvents or paint – Flammable solids, such as matches; self-combustible substances, such as phosphorus; substances that become dangerous when wet, such as calcium carbide – Oxidising substances, such as fertilisers; organic peroxides, such as fibreglass repair kits – Toxic substances, such as pesticides; infectious substances, such as blood samples or medical specimens – Radioactive materials, such as smoke detectors – Corrosive substances, such as bleach or drain cleaner – Other items, including pornographic material, plants/seeds/flowers, magnets or items containing ferromagnetic material, human remains/bodily fluids, live/dead animals, animal hides/fur/any animal parts, wet/dry/metal or lithium batteries or products containing them, perfume, nail polish, aftershave, hair spray, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, alcohol, prescription medication, pork products, tin cans, and products with odour leakage   Disclaimer: If prohibited items as listed above are found in a parcel, or if goods are not declared accurately, any resulting returns, fines, or criminal penalties are entirely the sender’s responsibility and have nothing to do with Ebaoguo.
